This area has been made to save SVG images for later. It's really helpful when you need to compare filters result, or to make a backup. Only you can see them (it's a local save)
What is a SVG file ?
Svg (Scalable Vector Graphics) is an XML-based vector image format for two-dimensional graphics.
The advantage is that you can modify image size without losing quality and detail.
This vector format describes images as shapes, paths, text, and filter effects. Scaling the vector image preserves the shapes.
This can be rendered at any resolution.
SVG permits interactivity and animation. SVG files can be used with CSS styling to create new presentation in your document.
You can easily change the SVG stroke width, change the color, add outline , hover effect...
Text editors can open, edit, create SVG files due to them being XML files.It's more common to use drawing software to generate this file type.
All parts and sections of SVG files are capable of animation.
How can i use it ?
You can create a font (example.ttf) with Icomoon.
Edit online a svg file with Svg Edit.
Use a software like Inkscape to create or edit vector graphics on your desktop. You can also use Adobe Illustrator .
For a better conversion result, prefer an image with a solid background.
Picsvg is a very helpful tool for converting Icons.
You will found differents filters to change svg output result. Converting image to SVG has never been so easy.
Another example of use : before printing an image, a drawing, in 3d, convert image to SVG and then to STL format.
